The Hedda Sterne Foundation is pleased to announce our new partnership with Victoria Miro. Today the gallery announced representation of Hedda Sterne and plans for a solo exhibition of her work in their Venice gallery this autumn (November 5 - December 10, 2022). Victoria Miro said:
Hedda Sterne described her work as a process of ongoing exploration and discovery and it is her openness to experimentation, as well as her independence of spirit, that single her out as one of the great artists of the twentieth century. It was a huge pleasure to present the first solo exhibition of Sterne’s work in the UK in 2020, when we showed her sublime Vertical Horizontals. We are honoured to begin working with The Hedda Sterne Foundation and look forward to bringing more of Sterne’s great work, and her philosophy of art, to new audiences.
