In the second half of this episode, host Tyler Green speaks with The Hedda Sterne Foundation’s director Shaina Larrivee about the exhibition “Hedda Sterne: Imagination & Machine” at the Des Moines Art Center. The exhibition was curated by DMAC’s Jared Ledesma, featuring work informed by John Deere tractor parts that Fortune magazine commissioned from Sterne in 1961. Larrivee wrote the essay in the exhibition’s brochure.
