"Making Space: Women and Postwar Abstraction" on view at MoMA, NY

The Museum of Modern Art, New York, is now showing "Making Space: Women and Postwar Abstraction," on view on MoMA's 3rd floor through August 13.  Drawn entirely from the museum's collection, this exhibition features a painting and print by Hedda Sterne in context with nearly 100 artworks by 50 women, dating between 1945 and about 1970.

Hedda Sterne's, New York VIII, 1954 on view at the entry to "Making Space: Women Artists and Postwar Abstraction".  This work is collection of The Museum of Modern Art, New York, acquired in 1954 - the same year the work was completed.
